The Pionjar is a versatile tool that is powerful, portable and versatile. This 70-pound tool pulls double duty as both a rock-drill and hammer/breaker. This means you can use it to both core through concrete and drive a split-spoon to depth for sampling.
Both 2 & 3-inch split-spoon samplers are available to retrieve continuous cores to depths of up to 25-feet*.
The Pionjar is also used for tailings and sediments sampling programs. In tailings, depths of over 100-feet* are possible and sediment up to 30-feet depending on technique and conditions.
Various attachments are available with this drill such as cutting tools, chisels, rock-bits and tamping stands (to repair asphalt).
